red satin blouse by Debenhams, blue Monsoon skirt, Miu Miu shoes, Forever 21 necklace
I was having a bad, bad hair day in these pictures, but I like this color combination so I still wanted to share this outfit with you. I'm sure you don't mind not seeing my face for a change - you're not really here for that anyway, are you? Okay then :)
I've seen lots of people wear red, white and a darker blue for nautical looks but red with a lighter baby blue is something I haven't see too often - but I like it a lot. I also like shade of blue against the the shoes... I think it functions as a nice "buffer" between the red of the shirt and the leopard print.
Btw, my green suede Miu Miu heels arrived, but I had to send them back because 1. they were damaged and 2. the original box was missing :( really sad, the color was sooo beautiful.
That's all for today, I'll be back tomorrow I think. Thank you for visiting my blog :)

I love baby blue and red! The detail on your skirt is so pretty too!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love the colour combination! It really works. The skirt is so beautiful; I love the detail to it. I love the necklace with the shirt. And the shoes and nails are gorgeous, too. Another perfect outfit. :)
ReplyDeleteToo bad you chose not to show your hair and your face. I find that the head is part of the look too.lol
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love baby blue and red. It just looks so exquisite. And I don't even like red. .. The necklace and the shoes were the perfect complement.;)

oh the sadness of the mui-mui shoes!! the outfit though is a delight, i have never thought of combining these colours and you have pulled it of and with leopard shoes - so pretty x
ReplyDeleteThank you all for leaving me such sweet comments once again, I'm glad to hear you like this look, guess I can wear this more often! :D
ReplyDelete@Maria: It really was sad, seeing those beautiful shoes like that :)
And thank you! :)
@ Diana: It would have ruined the look, trust me... my hair was not a pretty sight that day! But thank you :)
The pairing of soft, sweet blue and rich lipstick red is so fresh - yet simultaneously timeless - and gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your lovely comment this evening. I've been reading your wonderful blog for some time now, but don't think I commented (no idea why not!) previously. I'm happy to know that doing so in turn lead you to discover my vintage blog, dear gal.
